I just did that ; took an 031 oring or was it an 032; and you have to pull the whole drive mech out; it is tricky and if your not small mech inclined don\'t do it; There is a few gears and they work in tandem so when you put it back together it has to be just right; if you take it out take pictures of it as you take it apart because you will never remember how it goes back together; easy to get out; a pain to put back together. And it will all come apart just to put that oring in.
This mechanism has overload coupling inside. When mechanical overload occurs the coupling may klick. Else doors are jamming so coupling is set too low. Check doors and if they are easy look at coupling - it has spring and screw adlustment at center of linkage drive whell.. I don't know Your model but in Ouverture it is easy to reach. But don't try if you are not experienced (You didn't damage minimum 10 sets in life :).
Chances are you will need a replacement cd mech assy to fix this problem assuming you have already cleaned the laser lens(cotton bud with ethyl alcohol or isopropanol).dont know of universal remote for b&o but some specialist remote replacement companies do one for beolink1000 which will operate your product.
Push the door to the left this normally engages the door to the mech.it is designed to detach if the door is jammed or too stiff to move.Cleaning of the guide rail and door carrier is usually the cure.this can only be done properly be removing the central cd clamper and control panel assy.
unplug from mains, close doors by hand, reconnect mains, does the doors open or can you hear something trying to happen,if so the guide rails for doors may need cleaning/lubricating otherwise the cable drive may be detached(a workshop job).
Sounds like the belt drive that controls the doors is broken.
If you're a repair headed person, you can get the repair manual online for $25 or so. Parts may be harder to get, but with the proper imformation, you may be able to do the work yourself.
It's both tricky and super easy because the design is generally very very good, but knowing the technical details requires a decent amount of patient brain work and proper tools.
BeoSound 2000 - The CD won't even spin now. The cover closes, the Number 1 for the track appears in the display, then the cover immediately reopens showing what looks to be something like this [ ] in the display.
