Hi,

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Adobe Reader X 10.0.0

Check the network path. PDF files do not open only from network folders with DFS paths.
\\mynetwork\doc\manual.pdf
And everything perfectly works if in way to specify the server:
\\myserver\doc\manual.pdf
This problem is in protected mode of the program. That Adobe Reader X didn't give out more mistakes, this mode needs to be turned off.
1. Start Adobe Reader X
2. Go into Edit - Installations ...
3. In category choose the Basic
4. Take off the checkbox "Enable protected mode at startup"
5. Restart Adobe Reader X
Everything should work.
If the file does not open, then it means it is damaged. You will be able to recover it by using Recovery Toolbox for PDF

Look at this forum. There are tips on this topic. Maybe you will be helpful. Good luck!

There's a discussion of this problem on Adobe's forum at
http://forums.adobe.com/thread/771034.
Maybe some of the ideas there will help.

Have you tried Foxit Reader? It's for .pdf files and I've had very good luck with it. Download it for free:

In order to view PDF files, you would need to download Adobe Reader. This is a free program that you are able to download from adobe.com. I hope this has helped.

When I go to open a message using the adobe reader, it says it is unplugged

Each browser manages how they interconnect with other software on your system. The browser your using is giving you an error that say's "you need a plug-in" this really means your browser is not finding the connection (internally on your system) to adobe reader program. If adobe reader is installed and works opening a PDF that isn't on the internet. Then we have an association issue.
The odds are you don't have the proper program installed in which case I would start here.

What must I do if when I open adobe reader it say me: invalid plugin detected. Adobe reader will quit. ????

tried up-issues (Adobe Reader 8.1.2+) and got the same error "invalid plugin detected. Adobe Reader will quit".

I fixed this error by following laborious steps described in the Adobe Technical Support Home.
Not sure if this helps you guys; but worth a try. Developers should say if this the real cause.

You can find these in the "plug-ins" folder. [C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 9.0\Reader\plug_ins]

"HAEvents32.api" is the main culprit. Along that, I removed "Helmant32.api" and "Helmbkmk32.api".
Without deleting these two, an error or two might come but still PDF will work. I tried all these combinations.

Note: Delete these files if present anywhere else in the system else they recreate themselves.

Thanks every one.

A DPF (text) file cannot be viewed in my PC, why?

I think its .pdf file, which stands for Portable Document Format and you need to install Adobe Acrobat Reader to view these files.

Download it from the internet and install

Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0

Try printing then scanning the PDF.

(Or spend the money to install Adobe Acrobat -- and I do not mean just the READER program)

I have no clue about your "error message displayed is saying that the documents contain renderable files."
