Question about Dell Inspiron 5160 Notebook
I have attached desktop speakers on my Dell Inspiron 5160 laptop. I have loaded my CD's using Zune and want to play them at their best. When I try to fine-tune the bass-treble from the Control Panel audio icon, I find that area grayed and can't get to it. Any suggestions? Thank you.
The only way you are going to get any enhanced audio out of a 5160 is with an external USB audio device.
One option: PCMCIA Sound Blaster® Audigy® 2 ZS Notebook

The Dell Inspiron 531 is a desktop personal computer with a Microsoft Windows operating system. An Inspiron equipped with a CD burner can be used to record audio discs using Windows Media Player, which comes installed on the Inspiron as a standard part of the software package Dell loads onto its computers. Blank, recordable discs and pre-recorded audio CDs are the only supplies needed for the project.
