To drain the water collection tank completely, leave the bottom drain cap off long enough to allow any residual water to drain out. Once the water tank is completely drained and no more water flows out, reinstall the cap.

Have you tried removing the battery, and blowing some light air into the compartment, to remove the dust and dirt? Mine had an error and that is what solved my error message! Hope this helps
