If your computer is really screwed up, and it's a fairly late model, it may be worth buying a new operating system.. If you don't want to spend that kind of money, you probably need a computer nerd friend to come by and help you.. If it's not a fairly modern computer, don't pour a bunch of money into it. I'd probably recommend you going and buying a new one for your birthday, or something... You deserve it..

Recovery cd for dell dimension 3000

If you mean that you NEED ONE and don't have one and can't make one, then look for one ONLINE, by typing exactly what you wrote into GOOGLE:
recovery cd for dell dimension 3000
Actually, it would be your DOS, whether WIN XP, VISTA or WIN 7 that you want. Look for those, whichever operating system you're using, and someone will have the solution, without having to pay.

Hp omnibook xe3 needs factory restore

You will need the recovery discs to do this. If you don't have them check this auction: http://www.cqout.com/item.asp?id=10419346
The reason the recovery disc is the best option is that it will have all the drivers for the machine included.
Before you start recovery, make sure you can read your COA licence on the bottom of the machine.
You can still do a factory restore without recovery CD but you will need a copy of your operating system on disc, the licence key (COA) and prefferably, all of the system drivers copied to CD or stored on USB drive, these will be available on the HP support website.

How can i reformat my packard bell laptop without the recovery cd?

The recovery cd is just a Pre-Built Windows version that includes the drivers you need for your computer.
If you want to format your pc and lack the original recovery cd, you just need to get a Windows (or other operating system you want) installation CD/DVD, put it on your optical drive and reboot your computer.
On installation, you will be asked what you want to do: Fix or Install. Choose install and check to format your disk.
After installation, if something doesn't work, its because you don't have the needed drivers, so go to Dell's Support Page find your computer, download and install the drivers you are lacking (video card graphics, sound, etc.)
Hope it was helpful ;)

Recovery problem i don,t have recovery CD

What's the brand and model of your computer? Usually it has an image partition to automatically recover your computer to its factory settings, if your computer has that you will be able to recover your computer without the CD but if not there's no other option but to buy a recovery disc.

My aspire 5920 will not install anything

The eRecovery CD install is usually sold by Acer and comes free with your laptop. Call Acer support or use the web site. You can also decide to install without the eRecovery CD. Such you need to buy your own software. Then you can make your own recovery cd.

In restore mode its ask for administrator password but my name is not showing up and i dont have a password

Hi, man. Don’t worry, there are many people forget their admin password or lost it, and there is a popular solution for those who have been locked out by computer. For this solution, what you need is a second computer that can connect to Internet and then freely download Windows Password Recovery 6.0 at http://www.recoverlostpassword.com/products/windowspasswordrecoery.html With it, you can create a reset CD which can be used to reset Windows admin password without erasing anything.

Need floppy to boot in XP PRO on HD

Hi, if you can boot using xp cd then instead of going into recovery console you can elect to install xp. The cd will search for existing installations and offer to repair for you. If you are able to get this option it will not delete your programs or personal stuff. You will need your xp code and you may need to reactivate windows when finished. If it doesn't offer repair then f3 to exit so you don't overwrite your personal stuff.
