The printer won't print... it demands I try a test page... I print the test page and it STILL won't print. My ink cartridge levels are fine!

ok first thing to check is the connection. either network or usb, Go to start on your computer and bring up devices/printers and faxes. look for your copier. right click and select printer properties it will be below preferences. you should get a page come up. first option is general, select the PORTS option and check the ticked address, either the ip address or usb. if it on parralell port this can cause errors. it might have selected this if you have a usb port try swapping the usb selection. If on network cable check the IP address is correct. You can check the ip by typing it into your web browser and the web page for the copier should come up if connection good. It sounds like the connection type may be wrong if its saying off line. Good luck,hope it helps

If you get an error message "Insufficient power to operate USB device" when you plug a USB device into the computer's USB port or the un-powered USB hub that is attached to the computer's USB port, then this device is drawing excessive current that the USB port cannot supply. The maximum output from an USB port is 500mA. In case such as this, you need to purchased a powered USB hub and connect this hub into the computer's USB port and then connect the USB device into this powered USB hub.

I hv connecd msp 250 champion printer to my laptop. when am giving print, an error is coming ,it is "this document is failed to print" ? how to resolve this error

This usually happens mainly because of 2 faults,
1. The printer cable may be damaged, check if cable is connected to printer if connected if the cable is in perfect condition.

2 . The port assigned to printer may be wrong. Assign the correct port check the link

My printer wont print from my computer. I installed it and it recongizes the computer but it wont recieve it. It says error

Have you installed the correct drivers for printing...also you need to check the connection port.. make sure you have connected it and have it registered as connected by the correct port you can find this by going to the control panel on your computer and look for printers find your copier and right click on it .. you see apage open look for the ports tab and check that the port for the copier is set to the correct method ie usb for usb connector or parellell port TCIP if connected with a network cable..if you have it connected with a network cable you will have to enter the ip address too.

Installed and will not print

You either need to check and see if the printer is connected properly. If it is USB printer, check the USB connection and make sure the port is active too.

Other reason for that error, could be incorrect installed driver, as the computer and the printer is not communicating properly.

Check those option and let me know.

this error is because the resource is in use, you need to empty your print queue before you can change ports or settings

Printing error

From your start menu, go to printers and faxes area. When this opens do you see your printer listed? Is it greyed out at all or maybe listed as offline? How are you connected tot he computer? Network, USB, or parallel port connection? If you see your printer listed and it has no other duplicate listings, right click the printer and go to properties, then choose the Ports tab. Verify here that the port selected witha check mark corresponds with your connection method. Example: If you are connected through USB, your selected port should say USB. Sometimes DOT4 ports will work for USB connections too. If you see this option, you can select it and hit apply to try it out. Try to print a test page after each applied change. Also, make sure that print jobs haven't built up in your queue by double-clicking your printer icon. If there is a queue of failed print jobs, select them and cancel. This might take a moment to complete. If your printer icon is greyed out, right-click it and un-choose the work-offline option and try it.

Check the printer ports, it is probably that your printer is connected to a wrong port. You have to go to printer properties and then to "Ports" If your printer is connected via LPT1 this port must be selected or if your printer is connected via USB port the "Virtual USB port" must be selected.

Refuses to print in XP - no error messages

Try going to 'add & remove hardware'. Remove the COM ports. Reboot your computer. Windows should find your hardware and install the COM ports. If not, add the COM ports manually. Leave the printer COM port settings on COM port 1 or COM port 2, whichever you prefer.
