Question about HP LaserJet 3055 All-In-One Printer

Sir, I have a HP 3055 laserjet. It prints and copies fine. but when i try to scan documents,the bulb gets stuck in the middle of scan and fails to scan. I have re installed the software but the problem persists. kindly assist..

U have to serivce your scanner its need to open it if u have warrenty then go in service center if not then open it then clean it put there some white gress its avlible nearest electronic store then try to scan

There is no need to change the mode. When the document is loaded on the document feeder, the screen displays "DOCUMENT LOADED" and shall copy or scan this document. To copy or scan from glass, DO NOT LOAD ANY DOCUMENT IN THE FEEDER. The printer will automatically copy / scan from glass.

Odds are that you have a bad toner cartridge; especially common when using remanufactured cartridges. (Staples, Corporate Express, etc.) Replace your cartridge with an OEM HP cartridge and you should be OK.

Hp laserjet 3055 scans larger than print area


When you place a document for scan, you must select the portion you want to be scanned.

You must also set the resolution which is set to 300 by default, if you want a actual size then set the resolution to 75, which is 3% larger then actual image.

It will reduce size in KB or MB of your image and it will be exact size.

Similarly, when you want to print, you must select option "Exact Fit" and print your document.

Everything will be normal.

  • Clear the jammed media from ADF (HP LaserJet 3050, 3050z).
  1. Open the ADF cover plate. c01075161.gif
  2. Remove any jammed media with care.Take out the page gently. NOTE: Take care not to tear the paper. c01075162.gif
  3. Close the ADF cover plate.
  • Clear the jammed media from ADF (HP LaserJet 3390, 3392, 3052 and 3055).
  1. Open the ADF cover plate. NOTE: Check whether all packaging straps inside the ADF are removed. c01075163.gif
  2. Unload the jam clearance component.Lift the two handles with both hands until the component clutch is released.Rotate and lift the jam clearance component, and then put it aside. c01075164.gif
  3. Lift the green handle, and rotate the paper picker until it is opened. c01075165.gif

Not scanning or copying when using the ADF on HP laserjet 3055


Based on the assumption it's mechanically ok, check the cable connection between the document feeder and the base, if damaged or worked look it can cause errors. If it is a sensor error, check for a small bit of paper or even a staple from a prior jam.

White line


White lines are generally caused by clogged print nozzles. I assume that you have a printer with the print heads built into the cartridge. Are you using high quality cartridges or cheap refills? If cheap refills, try a better/different brand of cartridges and see if that helps. I would also check the printer manufacturers website and try their recommended printer nozzle cleaning procedure.

HP LaserJet 3055 Won't Scan


Dears

My hp 3055 is working fine on the network bt problem is "SCAN TO" Button is not being configured with the PCs.It displays all the PC names bt not able to scan. it diplays an error "Unable to Connect".
can any body help me out of this matter
