This is a pretty old laptop about 10 yrs. It does not come with wireless support. It probably has Windows 98 installed on it.
You might be able to set up wireless via the USB port.

If you are using some Wireless client utility, disable it and try to connect with standard Windows wireles connection.
Is Wireless Zero configuration service running?
(Control pannel -> Administrative tools -> Services)
Set it to Automatic and start the service.
If there is some ecryption on your router, check if you have correct encryption settings on your WL device.
Check/set your WL network adaptor. Has to be set to automaticaly IP and DNS.

On the underside of the laptop undo 3 screws to remove the battery cover. Take the battery out for a couple of minutes, then refit. The laptop should restart. I have this problem periodically with mine.
