Question about PDP Rock Candy Controller For Playstation 3

Analog Sticks Inverted on PC

I've been trying to use various controllers on my PC for gaming, but all in all, they've all had the same problem; the Y-axis for both sticks is permanently inverted, no matter whether I change options in games or not. For camera control, this isn't much of an issue, but since the left stick is for actual control, when backward actually goes forward, and vice versa, it becomes a major problem. I haven't yet tried an actual supported Xbox360 or PS3 controller because I cannot afford to buy corded versions of either.

Tried a friend's wired Xbox360 controller, worked just fine, no reversed inputs. So, just a problem with third-party controllers, apparently.

Yeah, I don't use third-party controllers on my PC, just the Xbox controller. I'm sorry that you have this problem with other controllers.

Character is looking left

I've known some controllers have a problem with analog sticks constantly turning left, seems to be a calibration issue with older joypads. Try centering the pad as you switch the console on, and if that doesn't solve it, its new controller time!

Xbox analog sticks are the wrongs way around.

In the options menu there may be a controller configuration called Southpaw. This reverses the sticks. It might be the problem.

Controller not working. On Call Of Duty Black Ops, whenever I move the bottom analog stick up, I look down. But If I move the analog stick down I look up.

Go to the game's controller settings and select which configuration suits you. Don't set it to inverted if you are not used to it.

Hope this helped you!

I got the controller conected to my laptop, but the buttons wont work when i start playing the game, its a p380 dual analog pc gamepad

you must first make sure you installed the software drivers for the controller. when you open the game, make sure that you've setup the controller in your options window. your controller name should show up if done correctly. Note: in some cases, some games aren't compatable with certain controllers, i suggest that if this is the issue, you consider getting a better supported controller, preferrably a Microsoft 360 controller. they're cheap and wireless. Bam. Toaster streudel.

On xbox our controls got reversed so when we go up on the right analog stick it looks down. How do you fix that?re

Change the controls in the game you are playings menu. This is usually caused by the controls being switched to inverted in the settings for the game.

We just recently purchased the wireless Logitech PS2 controller...my son has games which you can zoom in and out...but the controller is stuck ZOomed in and will not return to normal w/o having to pull one...

You need to recalibrate the the analog sticks. To do this you need to take out one of the two batteries then press and hold L1 and L2 at the same time. While holding L1 and L2 insert the battery you took out earlier. Now you can release the L1 & L2 and your analog sticks should be centered. Do not touch or move the analog sticks during this process. If this fails to recalibrate then repeat the procedure again.

Have taken the controller apart once before since my buttons were a bit loose (that was fixed) and now my analog sticks squeak and are a bit rough to use. Even when not touching them they are also off...

that's normal wear and tear. best off buying a new one. usually the left goes out first. it's a pain trying to unsolder and resolder new analog sticks. trust me i've tried and i;m a pro at soldering. if the leads don't come out right away after a few tries, everithing starts to fall apart. like i said. you're better off with a new one. sorry
