Question about HP Pavilion Computers & Internet
Have an operating system installation disk available... You must have a valid Microsoft Prod. Key with it.. You'll need to use it during installation.. Boot up (start) the computer with the operating system disk already in CD /DVD player. If your bios (motherboard settings) are set correctly, the computer will start and it will lead you through the installation procedure.. If you can't get it to boot from the disc, your bios needs some settings changed..(boot order settings)... It might be better if you have somebody more experienced to do this, if that is the case. It can become even more complicated. You might have to search for the proper drivers to install in that computer, also.. like drivers for your sound, your wifi or ethernet connection, printer, etc. etc.. The whole thing can be a can of worms if you don't know something about it. BUT, it would all be a good learning experience for you, if you have the perseverance to fight your way through it.. Good Luck..
