All routers have a reset button on them that will allow you to reset the unit back to the original configuration it had when it was first turned on. This will reset the password on the router back to the original factory default that will be listed in your manual. This means that any changes you have made to your router will be wiped out. Your router will then reboot itself and come back up with all of the original settings intact. You will then have to make any changes that are necessary to make the router function in the correct way for your network. All routers have menu items that allow you to back up the configuration file from the router to a place on your computer. That way if you ever need to reset your router back to the factory settings you can then just reload the configuration file to set it back to your configuration settings.

If you are locked out of the router you will need to reset it. There will be a small button (usually at the back) with reset wrote beside it. You will probably need a paper clip or something to push it.
Next to the power supply connection is a pinhole Reset button. Disconnect all cords from your router except the power cord. Press Reset button with a pin for 10 seconds. Wait 10 more seconds then unplug router. If it is then reset to the original factory settings you will have to reinstall it using software that came with router. You may have to reinstall your network card software as well.
Some, but not all, routers have a reset button. Different routers require different steps to perform resetting. On many of them, to restore your own "personal setup" that was created when you first installed the router - not the original factory settings - you just have to disconnect the power supply and reconnect it after a minute or two. You will need to locate and read the manual if you cannot get to Belkin's support site online. Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns. Thanks.
At the back, or bottom of the unit there should be a small button,it is a round and quite small, you will need a pen or somthing with a small point to push it in, that should return all the setings to factory default. Therfore changing the the user settings to its original. The user name and passwor should be written on the bottom of the router.
You will have to reset the router itself. On the back of the router is a reset button, it will return the router to its factory original settings. You will have to reconfigure it according to your previous settings.
You need to reset router to factory settings. 1.Unplug all LAN cables from the router. •Unplug the router power cord
connector from the back of the device. •Using a paper clip or something
similar that will fit into the reset hole, press continue to hold the reset
button, then carefully reinsert the power cord, making sure not to release the
reset button in the process. •Continue to hold the reset button in for
at least 15 seconds after inserting the power cord, then release it. After about
