My gas dryer isn't heating at all. The model # is HYG3460AWW. Do you think is't a thermal fuse?? and do you know where it's located??

Possible cause is a bad ignitor. Alot of gas dryers have a ceramic hot surface ignitor. If you can access it, Look and check for cracks. Do not touch the ceramic portion. Oils from your skin will cause a failure if that is not the cause. Other failures can include limit switches and thermostat. In my expierece the hot surface ignitor is the most common failure.

Works but doesnt spin. Where is the belt located. I think that might be the problem.

To access your drive belt, you need to take the front cover off. Unplug the dryer first.
There should be 2 screws on the front cover in the lower front area. Remove the screws and tip the bottom of the front panel forward until the top clips are frree of the top panel. Be careful there is a door safety switch wired. You can disconnect the wire and set the front panel aside.
Look under the drum in the dryer and you'll be able to tell if the belt is broken or loose.
IF you need to replace it, you'll need to take the 4 screws that hold the front drum support/duct assembly loose from the dryer case. Once these are removed you can pull out the whole gray assembly and slide the drum out.
The new belt can be purchased online at repairclinic.com if you want.
To put back in, you can put the belt around the drum and slide it back in. It should have a grooved side and a flat side on the belt. Put the flat side toward the drum. It routes around the motor pulley and a tensioner pulley. It may take a bit to figure out the routing, but the key is to put the belt into the indentation ring on the drum to allow you to get it around the pulley and tensioner... if you leave the drum sticking out of the machine about 8 inches, you can reach thru the drum and hook the belt in place, then slide the drum in and pull the belt out of the indentation and onto the larger circumference of the drum. You may have to twist the belt to get the flat side next to the drum.
You can then put it all back together...
Good luck... be patient and you can do it.

Black Film on the inside of the dryer drum. Transfers to clothes.

The gas is not mixing properly with the air. You could have a blocked or restricted vent which has caused lint to back up in the machine thus giving you a poor burn. Check your venting and if it is clogged you may need to dismantle the dryer to clean it out inside. :)
