It is possible that the person installing the Radio connected the main power line from the radio to the constant power line, the one that is for the clock or memory

try holding the radio button until it shuts off after removing the key. I also read somewhere that opening and closing the driver door could shut it off.

Radio will stay on after I turn off my truck.

This sounds like an ignition switch problem.
The accessory is staying on after it should be off.

Radio stays on after car is shut off.have to manually shut off radio.

Look in your owners manual for how to set your car back to factory defaults, then see if that does the trick. On my 2000 Impala LS if you have your radio on and your key out the switch the radio will shut off when you open the door. You could have a bad switch on your radio but I doubt if that is the problem.

This is actually normal. There is a option in the menu on the dash to turn this off and on

Why the radio wont stay on after you enter the code it comes on then goes off after you turn car off or on

Check your fuses. Whichever one protects the circuits that stay energized when you shut the car off is probably blown; when you shut down the car, the radio's memory is being lost because it is losing power.

Radio light stays on after car shut off

you might find that it has a delay. If not and it is an aftermarket radio you will need to wire it to ingnition "KEY ON" and not direct power.

My amp stays on when i shut my car off.. .any ideas?

That means you didn't put your signal switch in right. The signal switch should be connected to your radio. So when your car shuts off it sends a signal to your radio to shut off then your radio sends a signal for your amp to shut off.
