Pleasure Tony, I got caught out a couple of years ago when looking for a fix to a problem I had. I asked a question about my car and had to pay for the answer which was not cheap and was utter rubbish. When I found Fixya last night and saw that I could help people and it wouldn't cost them anything to see my answer I decided to start posting answers to questions people have. Hope your not to affected by the fire's in Australia? It is currently -5 here in East Yorkshire.

SOURCE: My recently made music CD will NOT play in our

This is common with burned cd's they have trouble playing in different sets. Do prerecorder cd's play fine in your philips? If those are having trouble also you could improve it's playability possibly with a cleaning of the opu. Optical pick up.

SOURCE: can mp3,ipod connect to philips FW-R7 with cd

All you need to get them to play is a "dock" and a 3.5mm Jack to two RCA phono plugs lead.
The Jack goes into the headphone output and the RCA's go into any spare socket on the back of the unit IE tape/cd.
Infact you just need the lead, plug it into the headphone output of the Ipod or MP3 player. But the dock will keep the battery charged and you get a remote with the dock, so you don't need to get out of your chair, to operate the player.

Send URC number from inside the remote control battery cover, with the brand name of the remote. Most manuals and codes can be found at http://www.remotes.com/ if they're original equipment. One for all is probably a universal, but they share links to them also. That also includes if your remote is compatible to the DVD. If not compatible, try a Samsung DVD code.

32" tecovision tv remote compatible

To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability? Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have.
Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the site http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ Check this site too. http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops.

I need this remote to work on this system. Its an xv-htd540 surround sound system and i think the remote controll is an axd 7323 i dont know. If theirs a helpfull hint please let me know!! Thanks!

First you need to figure out the exact model number of the remote and also have you checked to see if they are compatible? That's all I'm gonna do if you give me the model number, second most remotes have a learn feature so if you still have the original remote you can "copy" the code of certain buttons to the remote you like to use. You provides very vague information. Is this remote original? I never tried to look up your remote because you put "I think" "I don't know" in your model number description and if you don't know I sure don't. Yes the models vary so I would need the right one. If it's not compatible and can't learn buttons the you would need to buy a new one unless the remote allows you to download codes. Good luck

the reason you can't connect it is because the remotes where made before the tvs if you want a replica remote as loosing the other or damaging go to the manufacturers site http://shop.skymediauk.co.uk/shop/partfinder.asp
Sorry but the technika universal remotes are not compatable with the actual tvs, odd i know
