Question about HP DesignJet 5500PS InkJet Printer
I have a Designjet 5500 60" and it is taking A LOT longer than normal to prepare the printheads before a printjob and almost all of the time I get the error code: 0c0040 0000005a and it tells me to switch the printer off then on. After turning it on it notifies me that all of the printheads need to be replaced. However all of them are fairly new. What can I do to fix this? Should I replace all of the printheads or could it be something else?
Remove the printheads and give them a wipe with a damp cloth, the ink sometimes dries on the head preventing it from registering as working
