Wash cycle moves to drain whatever the setting

My washer dryer has worked without fault for 3 years. Today each time I select a cycle after 1-2 mins it shifts to a 3 min drain only. This is the same for each cycle selected even drying. The control panel is largely not a dial electronic. Any ideas. Many thanks

Float switch in bottom of machine activated (leak) or pressure switch (or bottle for pressure switch) blocked or faulty.

Stops mid cycle. Light flashes, cant get it to move on so have to start all over again

Hi there.
I have the same problem with my machine. Whatever program I select, the machine runs fine until it reaches 54 mins of the cycle remaining. To overcome the problem just to select a cycle that will not stop mid cycle, select a program which is less than 54 mins. I think the 40 degrees and quick wash select is the one to run with. The cycle is 45 mins, obviously less that 54 mins. The LED timer will display the cycle time. No problems with this cycle whatsoever. Not the total solution, but at least you're able to complete a cycle. After it's completed, I also run the spin program at 1200rpm. I hope this helps.
Regards, Ian.

Whirlpool duet frontload washer not draining on automatic cycle

Try unplugging for 10 min. This will reboot the system and clear the curcuit of all power. Replug the washer and select spin to drain. Selecting too many cycles in a short period of time can confuse the little brain in the curcuit just like a power surge does after a storm. Clear the brain and start from scratch.

Wash machine sometimes gets stuck on rinse cycle & dryer not dry

Sounds like the drain hose for the washer is too far down in the stand pipe at the wall causing a siphon effect, try raising drain hose a little. The dryer sounds like the vent line from back of dryer too wall is pinched causing an air flow obstruction. Hope this helps.

Spin cycle lasts indefinately

the spin cylce in washer, did not shut off?soundslike an issue with the timer itself, no servicing htetimer strictly replace, as far as teh time in the dryer, i would check for clogged/kinked dryer vent, biggest issue with any dryer, innadequate vent

MLE2000 front load washer

Hi..I had the same problem yesterday...the maching would start when I pushed the button and then stop..I had to push the button again to get it going..My stacked set is around 8 years old.

Here's what we did..moved the washer away from the water source and unscrewed the water intake lines..there is a little screen there...took the screen out of both hot and cold screen has some debris in it..the other was almost completely blocked..we are on a well and sometimes dirt..etc..gets in the lines..

Today no problems doing the laundry..its working like new..
