Many things can cause this. Are you moving about with a device? Is your wireless secured? Interference? Try changing channels? If you connect directly to the router with a Ethernet do you lose the signal? Have you Checked ALL the cables and reseated them? What are you using to connect to the wireless? Have you contacted your ISP? It may be a ISP issue? It's not a simple question to answer.

Slow Internet/Keeps Cutting Out

Hi try to test your internet connection by using a a eithernet cable and directly pluging into you router and computer. If your connection works fine with that connection then try to reset your router back to factory settings and use a new password just in case someone has been bumming off your wifi. also contact your service provider to have them ping your system, they can test the connection from their end.

Can u get Free WIFI anywhere

if its expensive and you have a decent neighbor or two who has wifi internet service you could let your wifi search for networks and find one or two that indicate a strong signal and ask your neighbor if they would provide the passcode to you and share their connection for half of what they are paying, or offer to cut their grass or something ! Good luck

Why if am using hotspot download will be very slow

There may be a speed limitation on this WiFi hotspot, if it is a free WiFi and if a lot of people are using this site then the Internet connect will be slow.

I live nextdoor too a library which i am using them too connect my laptop with out a router.(eg: PC direct to Libra y router) yesterday it was super fast, but today it's slow i've tried all kinds of speed...

a great post and funny to read about snagging wifi.
lots of kids make a dish at school and use wifi from large distances.
so you are home right,. not in the library , right, and now expect the Libraries wifi to be fast at home , that far away,.
well it will never be fast ever. like that.
if you have a router that is 2 bands, there is no better routers.
the library only runs 2 bands I bet or even just 1.
so why not buy your own internet service,
or rig up this.

you can use a colander from moms kitchen

or other dish shaped objects to make this dish..
they need to be focused. and pointed to the library to work.
even card board, cut to a dish and aluminum foil works,

all this is fun stuff,
but never reliable.
at night they can have there router go off, on a timer.

THERE IS ALWAYS SLOW CONNECTION

If you are running more than one computer at a time on the internet, and are also connecting one or more through WiFi, then yes, the connections will be slow. You may need to upgrade your connection (memory, MB) with your service provider.
Here are some things to try if you are only running one comp and the connection is slow:
1. Restart the computer (shut off the router); as the computer is re-loading the O.S. turn on the router (if there is no on/off button, simply unplug and plug back in during this process).
2. Wait until all "start up" programs are finished loading, wait until you see the connection in the bottom right of your screen (if WiFi, or if set up to be displayed in that area).
3. Go into the Internet Options under Control Panel, and make sure you have enabled "pop-up" blocker (also in the File Menu, IE)

How can my samsung gt-15503 connect to internet through my pc which is connected to an internet.?

You can either use blue tooth which is very slow or you you can install a wireless card in your pc and use your phones wifi system to go on internet. if you have an ADSL land line modem connected to your pc then you also use your phones wifi facility if the modem has a radio antenna connected to it which indicates that it has a wifi connection... Follow the ADSL booklet instructions to address your phone correctly for the connection.

Must have a higher speeds internet connections for the Wifi or have wire connect directly to the internet connection for a stronger signal down load data's far ahead of the data's being for the Blu Ray player in used.

My ACER laptop stopped recognizing wireless network and the switch to enable disable Wireless network is also not showing any light, and shows "No netwrok Device" when I press this button. Also DVD drive...

The "Acer ePM" (Power Management) program is probably outting your WIFI into hibernation, Make sure it shows the WIFI as on under "Start" "All Programs"

Most Acers use a form of Intel chipped IPN2220 Wireless card. If yours does, you use XP and your router is using WPA or WPA2 (TKIP or AES) security then you'll need to update the driver by searching for it manually using the Custom button (Hardware) in Windows update (instead of Express). This driver is not part of XP service pack 2 or 3. In my experience if you don't update to the newest common form of home wireless security (WPA2 AES) then the older formats seem to become unreliable in the way you describe
