Sorry but if it looks shattered....it is shattered.
Put it on Ebay and buy a new TV as the LCD Panel will cost you more than this model currently sale for.

My son knocked my hisense 42 inch tv over and now the picture looks shattered, and the plastic screen is dented. Can it be fixed with replacement parts

The LCD screen has been broken. The screen is the single most expensive part of the unit. It is normally not cost effective to repair them. Replacement is the best option. Prevent tip-overs in the future by either wall-mounting the device or by tethering the unit to a wall with the tether kit that is supplied with most units.

Both the front glass and dark glass right behind the front glass are shattered....assuming this is the extent of damage, can these be replaced and for how much? The tv is 42PF9630A

In my somewhat admittedly limited experience, the replacement of any display screen, plasma or LCD, the cost exceeds the price of a new set.

I have a jvc plasma...apparantly it got banged while moving and now when i turn it on it has a place that looks like a crack but isnt and then thses weird "plaid" designs....can this be repaired?

No,the Plasma tv screen is cracks and damage.Take an insurance claim against the moving company.Sorry the plama screen is 90% of the tv,even u can buy the plama screen from the tv company to repair. They will sell the Plasma screen to u the same as a new tv.Even might cost more after the new plasma screen it put in.Now the tv only worth as for salvage electronic boards parts only now,not as a whole tv anymore.

LCD Sanyo screen looks shattered

The inner glass plate inside the screen is broken. The glass inside of these is very thin. I think it is only a few millimeters thick at the most.

The complete screen must be replaced to fix the fault. It will probably be cheaper for you to buy a new monitor rather than replace the screen!

That indicates an abnormal temperature rise in the power supply. These plasma TVs are board replacement repair only. The power supply board seems most likely would have to be replaced. I hope you have warranty coverage. It could get quite expensive to fix.

Shattered screen on LG 42LB5D

Sorry to hear about that. The only solution is to get the plasma panel and it cost about three quarters of the total price. Must be installed by professional tv repairman. Usually not costwise to fix this problem especially with the prices coming down. Most technicians I relate to are downgrading plasma tv anyway and are promoting LCD as the best overall.
