The pedal return spring should be checked. Also the pedal bushings where pedal connects to the pedal support up under dash may be worn and not allowing free pedal movement. Work the pedal with your hand and watch the upper mounting of the pedal to see if you can see the problem. I would expect the bushings need replaced. You might try a little light oil where the clutch pedal attaches.

SOURCE: 2001 Honda Accord Clutch Issue

check the actual pedal and clutch linkage.  Also look for a fitting thats emitting air into the system.

SOURCE: My Honda CRV-2000 manual transmission does not

the clutch fluid being low means that there is a leak in the hydraulic system and that is why you cannot get the vehicle in gear. even if you refilled the resivour you still need to fix where the leak is coming from then manually bleed out any air in the system. air is compressable and liquid is not. if there is air in the system you are only compessing the air when you push the clutch down and it is not pushing the clutch. check the clutch master cylinder for leaks- its under the clutch fluid. also check the slave cylinder is bolted the the transmission.

Car will not accelerate when gas pushed

Clutch plate and pressure plate seem to be too weak to pull the car. To test the clutch plate, park the car on flat surface. Pull the hand brake up, start the car, depress the foot brake pedal, depress the clutch pedal, put the car in 1st gear, press the gas pedal and leave the clutch pedal at once, while keeping the brake pedal depressed.
Follow one of the two following statements:
1. Engine does not shut down and remain start. (Clutch plate, pressure plate and clutch bearing defective - Replace all as a set)
2. Engine shuts down. (Clutch system is OK and does not require any repair).

My oil light is on in my 1987 honda prelude si. I recently changed the oil and oil filter. This problem came on after about a month of driving with fresh oil. My car is shuttering now and seems to be...

Best would be to check the oil pump filter in the sump of the engine. these also clog up and drops the oil pressure resulting in a warning light

Replaced in/tank fuel pump.

I have had problems with my 89 prelude. I found that the problem wasn't with the fuel pump, rather the master relay. You will have voltage at the fuel pump with the fuel pump dicconnected, but when you connect the pump and put a electrical load on the circuit, the voltage drops. check current with the pump running and see if this is the case.
