How do I remove the bing travel app from my windows 8 pc

This laptop comes with preinstalled apps and I want to remove the Bing Travel app. How do I do this ?

Thank you to everyone for their suggestions. It wasn't the bing search bar I wanted to remove, but the Bing Travel app which comes predownloaded with the new windows 8 system. It takes up a great deal of space on my pc. I finally removed it (more by luck than anything else !) but I had to go to the apps on the charm bar and search for bing and right click to bring the travel up and then a bar came across the bottom of the screen and a delete icon came up so I pressed it and it appears to have gone !

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: large space between apps in add/remove programs

Download tweak XP from the net, install it, run it, there is a tab named ADD/REMOVE programs, it DOES NOT add or remove programs, rather, it allows you to edit the Add/Remove program List only, so you should select the "blanks" and remove the from the list. ReClarify: IF you remove an entry from the Add/Remove tab using Tweak XP, It will no longer be available under windows control panel add/remove and if it IS still installed you will NOT have a way to remove the program.

SOURCE: how do i convert from bing back to google. I have

In Internter Explorer look at the top right search area and you'll see the Bing logo near a magnifying glass icon, Further to the right straight up from the scroll bar, you'll see another magnifying glass icon (smaller size) and a drop down arrow to its right. Left-click the drop-down arrow and selet Google. The Google name should now replace the Bing logo for search default. On Firefox it's essentially the same process, but the drop-down arrow is on the left of the search window and to the left of the search engine icon.

SOURCE: bing bar encountered eroor code 400.fix the problem

In most cases, you can disable the Bing Bar by opening Internet Explorer, then selecting View Toolbars, and deselecting Bing Bar.
Next, click TOOLS on the menu, then select Manage Add-Ons.
Once in there, you select Search Provider, then find Bing and, depending upon which version of Windows you are using, either right-click and Disable, or look at the bottom of the window and select Disable from the options.
Then, Close, and select View, Toolbars. If the Bing Bar is still entered there with a check mark next to it, deselect it.
Close IE, and when you reopen IE, Bing Bar will be gone.
If you want to get it back and have it working right, go to Microsoft.com/downloads, and look for the Internet software options, find Bing Bar, and download and install it.
I hope this helps.
Cheers!
-a.

SOURCE: What is the difference between the start screen and the apps screen in windows 8?

The Start screen is the default screen that shows ups when you turn your computer on. Most of the programs and applications installed on your computer will appear there. However, some programs and applications such as Paint, appear on the App screen. You can, however, move those to the start screen by right clicking them > Pin to Start. Finding the App screen is easy: Right-click a blank area in the Start screen > All apps icon at the lower right.

How do I delete all my google apps

You can remove apps from your device if you don't want them anymore or you need to clear memory space. If you uninstall an app you paid for, you can reinstall it later without buying it again.
Uninstall or disable apps
  1. Open your device's Settings app .
  2. Tap Apps or Application manager.
  3. Tap the app you want to uninstall. You may need to scroll to find the app.
  4. Tap Uninstall or Disable.
Uninstall vs. disable There are two ways to remove apps depending on whether you downloaded the app or if it came preinstalled on your device:
  1. Uninstall downloaded apps: If you downloaded an app from Google Play, you can completely remove it from your device.
  2. Disable preinstalled apps: Some apps come preinstalled on your device. You can disable these apps, but you can't remove them completely. After an app has been disabled, it will be hidden on your device.
Note: Disabling a system app may cause other apps to misbehave and will delete your associated data for that app.

My bing search engine has stopped working since i tried to upgrade to windows 8.1.

Hi,
Some Setting check it, i hope solved your issues.
  1. Open the charms menu (place your cursor in the top right or bottom right corner) and select "Settings."
  2. Click "Change PC settings."
  3. Click "Search and apps."
  4. Click "Search" in the side bar if it's not already selected.
  5. Disable or change any options you choose.
For some, the web search will be a useful addition that may just need some tweaking, others may simply prefer to turn off altogether. Whatever your use case, though, just about all the settings you can tweak will be found here.

If not solved i share a link please visit and follow instruction.
