Connecting 2 wire thermostats to white-rogers type 1311 3 wire zone valves

Thank you for your interest with Emerson White Rodgers. My Name is Joselito Laxamana from technical department. Make sure to connect a thermostat that will power open and powered closed the zone valve. I pretty sure that the two wire thermostat that your going to connect will not be compatible. I have a goodman furnance there is a loose green wire coming from the motor where does it go? Please help me.

Hi, W/D here.
A short green wire usually indicates a ground wire, and can sometimes have a terminal attached to the end of it. This wire would go to the frame of the furnace, as a ground wire for the motor, bonding the motor to the frame electrically. Usually, it is attached to the frame at the nearest point of contact, which usually is a motor attachment screw, or a green colored screw in the panel near the motor, and will sometimes have the grounding symbol near it. Before making any connections, check your wiring diagram first. It will be either in your paperwork with the furnace or attached to one of the panels near the motor. It can also be located inside the furnace electrical panel on the furnace, so make sure that the power is turned OFF (trip the breaker, and test it) before opening the electrical connection panel. Once you locate the schematic with the motor on it, find the green coded wire on the schematic and see where it goes. My experience has been that it will be a ground wire, but you have to check.
Best regards, --W/D--

Code c776 on a rheem tankless hot water heater. How do I disconect the remote and let water heaterdefault to 120 degrees??? I have the UMC-117 remote. Also any way to put a thermostat on this thing to...

The remote is hardwired to the tankless unit.
Turn power off. Open front cover, and locate wire connections and disconnect. Turn power back on. Open hot tap and see if unit works at 120 degrees F default temperature. If not, then problem can be PC board.
Typical schematic showing remote controller connection:

Some tankless units have built-in freeze protection.
I live in Texas and did following to protect my outdoor water heater: Thermostat controlled heat tape around pipes, and build a box around water heater out of styrafoam, and then put light bulb inside styrafoam box. I hooked up 120Volt mechanical thermostat to light bulb circuit.

When i plug in the insink erator and turn it on it blows the breaker is it the heating element or the switch or the thermostat

The first thing I would check would be the switch. then the thermostat then the element.I would also check for any burnt insulation which could allow a short to ground.
My gut feeling would be the element but I like to eliminate the less expensive items first. Hope this helps. Thank you and have a good holidays.

I have a black wire, a white wire, and a ground for supply. I have one red wire and one black wire on thermostat. I have two black wires on the heater that are wire-nutted together. How do I connect...

If this heater is 220 volt and the stat is 120 volt. Here you go. One black wire from the heater should go to the black wire on the thermostat. The red wire from the stat to your black wire in the electric rough in box. The other black wire on the heater will go to the white wire in electric rough in box. The ground to the appropriate ground screw on the heater and the stat. If you are not a licensed electrician in your state, you should hire one especially if you do not understand electric characteristics and the way energy moves or if you can not read electrical schematics. You can get seriously injured or killed wiring up electrical devices. Do not wire this heater up if your not sure of voltages, phase, and amperages.

Need to know how to wire a thermostate to a hanging emerson heate

If this is an electric heater without a relay, you'll need a high voltage (electric heater) thermostat.

Is this a new installation? Give me some more info and we can get this job done...
