Critical Message: The Envelope must be placed in the Bypass Tray face down (flap side up) and Long Edge IN.
In Microsoft Word (Word 2000)
Within the WorkCentre Pro 123/128 print driver
After opening up the print driver [<Start>, <Settings>, <Printers>, double-click on the WCP 128 PCL6 driver], click on Printing Preferences under the General tab.
Set the following features as follow:
In Microsoft Word under Envelopes and Labels, Click <Print> to send the information to the printer.
Note: This setup represents one way of printing envelopes. Other ways setting up some features in a different manner will work as well.

this code means your scanner has failed to setup correctly. this could be a problem that you would need a qualified tech to service the copier. there is nothing that you can do after you power off and power on (popo) the copier. it could be voltage, pwb board, or a binding scanner assembly.

That is a software related error, You most likely need to reload the firmware, or replace the hard drive.
You can try disconnecting all the document feed and scanner cables then reseating them. Other than that, your looking at a software issue.

Take a piece of copy paper, and some alcohol or some glass cleaner.
Lift the document feeder and clean that 1 inch strip of glass on the right side. It may even be a mark on that glass you cant see.
But the copy paper and alcohol will create enough cleaning and firction to remove whatever is on there.
It just has to be a small dot of ink or dirt in the right spot on that glass.
