No Display without pressing on the front

When i connect the front to my avx33, sometimes the display stays black, then when i press the front it comes up, when i go over a bump, it goes black again, music keeps on playing.

I think something doenst make good contact, so i opened the front, theres a brass plate which is pressed in when connecting to the headunit, could it be that this brass doesnt make good connection? can this be the problem why i have a black display??

anyone?

Absolutly "could" be the problem. Try using a q-tip with rubbing alcohol on it and GENTLY clean all contacts. Replace the face and see if tere is an improvement.

My screen has caution screen image may appear reversed how do I fix it

It's showing the rear camera display, but you don't have a camera connected.

Press the "home" button, then press the rear camera icon on the display. This will stop the display from defaulting to the rear camera input. Then go into the settings menu, find the rear camera setting and turn off the camera. That should disable the camera icon on the home menu.

JVC KD-AVX1. The head unit will not "turn on" when the power button is pushed. The display just stays off. The face lights up when you press the eject button and opens up and you are able to feed...

is this a headunit you have just installed? if not then I am not sure, but if it is, try swapping the red and yellow wires over. One should have permanent live, the other should be switchable. (unless you want the headunit to stay on when the ignition is off, in which case put them both to a permenant live feed.)
Hope this helps.

Do you know anything

In the JVC KD-AVX33 manual, page 31 they wrote: "You cannot connect a computer to the USB terminal of the unit." So, how you would connect the computer to the unit ?!?

JVC avx33 bluetooth greyed out

The bluetooth problem has resolved itself after I was away for a week and my car battery died. After I boosted my car and drove around to charge the battery the bluetooth icon works again without a reset message coming up. Because the unit was without power for an extended period it must have reset the memory although it did keep my original bluetooth device that was paired before the problem.

Someone on here also mentioned pressing the reset button for 10 secs which might perform the same thing.

Hope this helps anyone else having the same problem I've been having for months now.

I clicked something worng now it wont show up ,its has sound but no show, wont return to guide or homepage

you may have turned the display off which you would usually have to press the display button and hold it and to switch it back on you just press it again alternatively you could just press the reset button, you will need a pen or pencil to press this button, you should be able to see a little indentation on the front of the unit sorry I can't be more specific as I don't recognise the model number as it's from another country. Good luck

Just ground out the Ebrake wire... it will work fine then. Even if you just link the ground and ebrake wire together and ground them together it works!

Bluetooth Icon not working

I had the same problem with my nokia n80.

The solution i found is:

with the remote go to bluetooth phone. then on the remoete av menu. now you can select bluetooth as it's not grey anymore. i would advise search device with a new pin and not the standard 0000.

Good luck.

Let me know if it worked. It did for me. (eu model)
