IE8 problems

That sounds to me like something is there that got into your system unexpectidly.
I would restore my system to before IE8. Press start and search for restore point. Select the one that Windows made before installing IE8 and go for it.
Install Advanced System Care from and run the whole programme. Then if you must have IE8, install it. You will be equiped to deal with anything the net throws at you now.

I installed the beta 9 version and hate it!! It has slowed my computer and doesn't always load the complete page. I have to load and reload. I didn't have that problem before I installed it. How do I get...

I hope you backed up your system before installing it. I don't think that there is any easy way to go back to IE8 once 9 is installed. To make sure, go to the Microsoft website and check the forums. Somebody may have figured out how to revert back to IE8. You may need to reinstall the system, or just wait for the final version is released. In the meantime, you can try one of the other major browsers so that you can at least get back to normal surfing. Stay away from the beta versions, though.

Ie8 didnt download properly ,now i cant un install ,tried system restore but its still there ,cannot remove either .would be grateful of any advice

Hi, Please do the following:
  1. Click on Start button
  2. Click on Control Panel
  3. Click Add/or Remove Programs icon
  4. Click on Change/Remove Programs
  5. Select the ie8 to uninstall it.
Ensure that the ie8 is properly downloaded from the website with proper legal licensing (it is very important that your internet explorer is a legal copy and not a pirated one).
After you download the installer, re-install. It should work this time.

Installed Internet 8..& lost my scroll bar's on Facebook..can't move page..on Pogo chat box is covered?

Uninstall IE8. It will put you back to IE7 and your settings should be restored. IE8 still has a LOT of bugs in it.

My IE8 does no longer load parts of pages (flash/java)

I would lower my IE settings as far down as possible. I would also go to Internet Options/click on Settings located under Browsing History/click on the View Objects button and delete any corrupted or none working versions of flash and java. Then I would go to and to install new version of flash and java.

If you have IE-8 installed, then uninstall it and it will start working.
You can uninstall IE-8 using this command in the run dialog box:

IE8 first tab does not open any website

This is normal. IE8 is still in Beta, and probably won't work properly on 64-bit until its final release.

I've got 64-bit Vista Home Premium, and I still have issues with IE7 if I try to use it. Luckily, Chrome and Firefox work perfectly on 64-bit
