Press both RELEASE buttons on either end of the module at the same time and remove it. Remove the panel and carefully pull out the jammed paper. Locate and clear away any small bits of paper that remain. Push the module back on and snap it into place.

Disconnect from the electricity. Remove the bin. Flip the shredder upside down. Brush the blades to loosen/remove any cut paper. Then using a thin plier remove any jammed pieces of paper.

That thermometer light is only on when the unit is overheating. If it is not doing anything, that is a good thing!

ok " if the ready light did not come on it's telling you that there is no power sound like the plug in transformer is no good .

you can check that transformer , with a multimeter, see if you have the right voltage.
