SAMSUNG s1070 NO POWER

Hi There
I have bought a new Samsung S1070 Digital Camera and within usage of 15minutes it alerted me saying that the battery is finished and withintwo seconds it turned itself off.
It was a new Duracell battery and it can't have finished that soon. butanyway, I tried to change the battery and restart but nothing happened.
now there is no power and I can't do anything with it.
any suggetion as to why this problem is occuring would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Same problem here, I guess no one knows how to fix it. Maybe samsung could chime in on this huge problem, nothing like having a digital camera as a paper weight huh?

How do i change the shutter speed on a Samsung S1070?

Hello,
If you want to use your camera manually. Then you should switch the MODE DIAL button(The top cylinderic button) to M position.
Then, by using the other buttons (firstly use arrow buttons) you may change the shutter speed.

Regards.

Hello

Thank you for using FixYa for your problem

Always check the batteries first but if is it still giving the same fault, your camera is faulty.
It should be taken to an authorized repair centre for a repair estimate. Very few digital cameras have any user-serviceable parts.

Please rate our solutions and if you still have problems please call back for more ideas to help you

Zoom problem Hi, my Samsung S1070 camera won't zoom in and starts making noises & won't shut down or zoom out again, and the vision gets all blurry! what to do?

You have sand or some other small particles trapped between the moving parts of the lens. But I don't recommend you to try to clean it! Because you need to disassemble the camera and if you don't set the lens as exactly as it should be, the images will be blurry forever!
