SOURCE: Element LCD tv with no power. I replaced fuse,

You probably need a new power source. Take it to you repair shop. That's what I had to do and it was relatively inexpensive.

Philips 42pfl3704d/f7 No power at all

its definitely the fuse. you have to go to the phillips website and type in your model number to get the right fuse. I went thru 3 different fuses and they all blew right away. phillips website sells the right ones 5 bucks each. Get it here and it will save you trouble trust me.

If nothing happens no light or sound when you plug it in to the wall it is definitely the fuse. mine was a T8AH250VP. You have to be sure to get that exact fuse. every letter exactly like that. there are a lot of similar fuses that will blow the moment u plug it in.

Hope this helps took me a month to figure this out. I was going to buy powerbaords for no reason. fixed my 42 inch phillips for under 10 dollars. couldn't be happier. Also always run your tv threw a power ack. If you plug directly to the wall your fuse will blow frequently.

How many amps is the fuse that is located on the back of the TV near the power cord. It says T5AL/125 or 250 v. f800

Something else is going on to cause the fuse to keep blowing. Sounds like you have an issue on your power supply in the unit. Also check the outlet that your plugging it in to. Good luck!

Whistler 1730 keeps blowing fuses. no other problems with cigarette lighter plug

Is the lighter socket fuse blowing or the fuse in the unit's power cord? Have you tried another power cord from a Friends radar detector? If it doesn't blow that power cord's fuse, then your power cord is bad. If it does blow the fuse in the other power cord, there could be something wrong with the unit. Won't switch on

yes it could be a fuse but moust of the time
the fuse is blowing because power suger/or bad flyback/hozoutput/or power supply whent bad. unplug the tv .take off the back and look for the fuse you see the power cord it by the powercord if the fuse is black it a hard blow.
if you can see thur it .it a sofe blow you can try to chang it.6.1amp fuse125v or it could be 250v fuse6.1amp and if the fuse blow agon you have a short powersupply

TV TROUBLE SHOOTING PROBLEM

Have you tried another outlet in the house? If it still blows a fuse there could be an internal issue in the TV regarding grounding. Can you temporarily connect a microwave oven or similar device to that outlet to see if the fuse still blows? If it continues to blow, you can at least rule out the TV being the cause. Is the TV new? Has any recent electrical upgrades been done? Are you using an extension cord or plugging the TV's power cable into the Cable/Satellite box instead?

One important step to do regardless for all sensitive electronics is to perform a power drain by unplugging the device or removing batteries followed by holding in the products power button for 1 minute. This flushes out the capacitors and circuit board of any electricity that can prevent normal functionality.

My phillips 42" flat screen model number 42pf7621d/10 keeps blowing the fuse in the plug usually after we have turned the tv off and its in standby mode or overnite when we sleep ive just change...

What is rating of fuse in your TV like amperes and volts.
There is Thermistor in TV for degaussing the picture tube while in start up. This part requires heavy current to work for a second or two.
You can increase little bit current rating of fuse to avoid blow off.
