The Kingston key lock was not turned off. The computer protection was enabled and further, did not recognize the entry by which you came from. Without that Key, you are locked our from now to Jan 2014.

Dell poweredge 2950 11910 intrusion error

Hello here is the DELL support homepage:
http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/Product/poweredge-2950?dgc=IR&cid=259637&lid=4661885
The chassis intrusion was made to prevent unautorized access when the chassis is opened.
A small contact in the cabinet trigger the bios, so the operating system is not starting.
Next the system must be activated again by the system admin.
This can easy be deactivated, by entering the bios, and disable the function.
And the wire can be removed from the mainboard, so it don`t happens again.
Hope this will help you

Had the same thing happen to me today and in my case it was a code 18 as they come...
It started while I was installing a video card adapter for a dual monitor setup. The solution - I had to simply close the side panel I had left open for testing and then reboot the server. The intrusion alarm went off.

I have been having trouble with my ps3, it keeps on bring up Error 80023121, What can i do to rectify the problem. Daniel

Hello daniel rox 9 and welcome to FixYa. The error code you are receiving means the PlayStaion Network is down. Sony experienced an external intrusion onto it's PSN servers and decided to shut down the PlayStation Network worldwide to ensure the servers were not damaged and also to implement new security features. Sony expects the PSN to be fully operational within the next 24 hours. For now there is nothing you can do until the servers are online again. I hope you found this information helpful and thank you for using FixYa.

I have a blue vertical flashing light showing just above the Dell emblem. In the past there has been a solid light. I have checked on OpenManager which indicates all is well but I do not like unexplained...

Great thanks,

That's just a system indicator flash. Solid blue means on and normal, blinking means someone either turned on the system indicator in the management software or bumped the indicator switch on the back of the server. This was designed to make easier transitions from back to front when working with multiple servers in a rack. To turn the indicator off, just go to the back of the server and find the Ethernet and usb ports that are together. If the usb is the bottom and Ethernet port is the top then just to the right you should see a small blue blinking light and a button, pushing the button wil turn the blinking off.

Again, no worries this is just a "locator beacon" not an error message, if the light ever blinks yellow then you have an issue.

Hope this helps FixYa,

Chris

Dell pe4600 I05F0 instrusion

I also had I05F0 instrusion alert with amber lights flashing. After much searching I found that it meant "Chassis intrusion" - When you remove the cover, the system assumes that you are servicing the bad component; the LCD display will clear when you replace the cover. Our IT guy didn't put the cover back on completely the last time he was in there!

The chassis intrusion detsctor has been set off. You'll need to look at your owners manual for the steps to reset it. Good luck and hope this helps.

Dell server poweredge 1800 frequently shutdown

is there an error message that appears? can you check error logs? I need more information to be able to help you. I would first try to blow dust out of the fans, as it may be over heating, another possibility is that there is software on the machine that is causing it to shut down.
