Built in speakers are not working - HP 1730 LCD Monitor

The speaker of your computer has a problem not the sound card device because when you're using headset its work. Try to use the external speaker when they are functioning, automatically you need to replace your built-in speaker to fix that problem.

Please check that an audio out cable from your CPU to the monitor is attached. If you are able to get you audio working on the normal speaker then you do not need additional drivers to get you built-in speakers to work.

Apparently the built-in speakers have one bad. You can have the speakers replaced for you at a good computer repair shop if you cannot affort to send it in at this time.

Have you connected them to the pc's sound card - it doesnt go through the video cable.

with help of your motherboard book let select the right (correct mdel) for the both camera and sound card. the prblem will disapper. only driver problem

I have lenovo notepad 3000n100 with winXP sp2.
I downloaded realtek audio from ibm site and installed.
Now sound is coming at my output port but the in-built laptop speaker is not giving any sound output.
The hardware is ok as the sound was coming at in-built speaker before formatting. The previous audio driver set up file i have lost.
Plz help.

your speaker could have some kind of liquid or something that has stopped them i would send i back to the factory

Looks like there is some problem with the stereo headphone connector. As its a hardware issue, I would recommend sending it to the service center.

You may also use external speakers temporarily.

There is only 1 way. You should get original drivers for NEC then only it will work!
