Ok there is a compatibility issue to run C++ on windows vista...

so try run C++ on compatibility mode [Right click on C++ icon, click on properties, than compatibility] change that to windows 98 or XP.

also try to re install graphics.h header file..

It will solve your problem.

How to run turboc in full screen in windows vista ultimate

Windows Vista And above doest not support full screen command window.. In order to run dos programs in full screen mode u can you use dosbox emulator which will be more convenient. Note that if you use pointers in your program it may not wok under vista directly.. If u run under the dosbox emulation it will work fine.. You can download dosbox from http://www.softpedia.com/get/Programming/Other-Programming-Files/DOSBox.shtml

How to run turbo c++in vista 64 bit os

You can run Turbo C++ 3.0 on Windows XP 64 bit , Vista 32 bit and 64 bit OS (in full screen)

Install the software DOSBox ver 0.72 (Freeware) from the link below (Direct Link)

http://prdownloads.so urcef orge.net/dosbox/DOSBox0.72-win 32-in staller.exe?download

Before going to the details u have to create a folder (any name will do).

Here we name it as Turbo

Copy the TC into the Turbo folder

Run the DOSBox 0.72 from the icon located on the desktop or from the location of the installation folder

Then u are presented with two screens which look like the command prompt in Windows

Now u are presented with two screens. One with a Z prompt. U can ignore the other screen.

There type the following commands at the command prompt [Z]:

Mount [Type in any alphabet that u wish except z] [Type the source of the turbo C] press enter

For example (Type in the following commands after the Z prompt):

Z: mount d c:\Turbo\ [The folder TC is present inside the folder Turbo]

* Now u should get a message which says: Drive D is mounted as a local directory c:\Turbo\ ***

C:\> cd TC [The contents inside the folder Turbo gets mounted as a virtual drive (Here D drive)

This system does not support full screen is the message if i run turboC

Vista does not support Borland TC in full screen mode, so you can click ignore and use it in a compact window or else use another IDE like MinGWStudio, you can download a freeware here
"http://static.commentcamarche.net/en.kioskea.net/download/files/download-MinGWStudioSetup-2_05.exe.exe".

VISTA Strucks in the loading tab

Hi,

U are facing the problem because may be your OS is not able to load all the drivers needed for the normal mode.

Don't install your OS from the where u r installing till now. Use some other DVDs or IMages to Install the OS. If it works fien than u can ask for a change because it seems that the image u r using is corrupt.

Turbo-c++ is not installed in full screen

Hi sagar,

Turbo C++ 3.0 is made for MS DOS 6.22 environment. In windows also we can run Turbo C because windows environment provides all native services of DOS. But in Windows VISTA some of the services are revoked. So to enable them either Vista is to be reconfigured or some add-ins are to me installed.

Other versions those can work in Vista are BOROLAND C++ 4.5, VISUAL C++ 6.0, and Visual Studio 2008. But in all these the graphics header file <graphics.h> will not work. Try to find an appropriate graphics header file or copy graphics.h in the cource directory and use #include "graphics.h" command in your C Program.

Please revert to me if having problems.

Changing vista ultimate OS from french to english

Open Regional and Language Options by clicking the Start button getopencontent.aspx?assetid=4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33&documentset=en-us&renderkey=xml, clicking Control Panel, clicking Clock, Language, and Region, and then clicking Regional and Language Option

Click the Keyboards and Languages tab.

Under Display language, choose a language from the list, and then click OK.

(If you don't see the list of display languages, you need to install additional language files first. You do this from the Vista Install CD.)
