It's depending on what OS are you using.

SOURCE: How to increase the video memory of my laptop

This is done in the BIOS screen. Upon startup of the computer, press the key or key combination the screen tells you to in order to enter the BIOS. Somwhere in there there will be a selection for video memory that you can change. Thanks and please don't forget to give this solution a fixya rating. :c)

Can asus p5gz-mx support 2gb kingston 800mhz ram

Click here to view the Specifications of your computer mainboard.

Unfortunately only 2 x DIMM, max. 2GB, DDR2 533/400 MHz memory modules are supported.
Meaning that it is not possible for the 2gb kingston 800mhz RAM to run, according to the Specs.

Sorry to inform you of this fact!

Asus M2V890 motherboard supports max 2GB memory per specs. Is there any way to increase this, or am I stuck with 2GB?

2GB is enough for the MB you are using, if there are no more slots on the MB then you cant increase them.....every slot has a MAX limit of RAM card that can be installed, check the MB specification....i guess 1GB per slot is the MAX...so 2 slots...2GB

Hi, my Asus a8m has 512 mb of ram. I'm considering buying a macbook, but wondering if it would be worth upgrading to 1 or 2 mb of ram and having a professional 'clean out' my asus. Would it be worth it?...

max supported memory is 2GB (2x1GB sticks replacing your current memory). Yes, it'd be worth it to add more memory of you were keeping the machine, otherwise restore it to original configuration and sell it "as is". Don't get a professional, just used your ASUSes restore option to set it back to factory configuration.

Can I increase RAM from 2gb to 3gb on an Asus F5VL and if so how, thank you

Yes you can increase your laptop memory up to 3GB because the memory limit that can handle of your laptop is 4GB. Go to any computer shop in your place and buy there a memory for your laptop. Bring your laptop so that they will handle the installation of the memory for your laptop computer.

I want to change the 2 x 512DDR ram by 2x 2GB DDR ram memories in my A205-S4577/Toshiba. Will it work?

hi,
it will work as your notebook is supporting maximum 4 gb RAM but please check that you are using 32 bit operating system or 64 bit one.
If it is 32 bit then the system will be showing 3.2 gb RAM only as this is the 32 bit os limitation.

Asus g2p max ram

You got two memory ports. One on the bottom of the unit. The second one is on top of your Notebook. To reach it you have to remove the keyboard. There are three small points on the top of the keyboard to unlock it. Under the keyboard you will find a metal protector with one screw which protects the second ram...
By the way: The Bios only recognizes up to 2 of ram.
System Profile ASUS G2P Standard Memory 0 MB (removable) Maximum Memory 2.0 GB Slots 2 sockets System Notes PC2-4200/5300 DDR2 SDRAM SODIMMs

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe
