Question about Acer AL1715 17" LCD Monitor
I start my computer and turn it on, and everything looks fine for about 1/4 of a second and then it goes black while leaving the power light green. I can only see the screen again after turning it off and on, but that's only for another 1/4 second. What's up? once I get my pc out of sleep and prior to log in my screen goes black and by multiple on and off once I get things operating it starts to work but there are days that it doesn't work and I just leave it off for the day
It's an LCD so the problem is most likely the back-light inverter board. Take a flashlight and shine it directly into the screen from the front. Can you see the image on the screen now? If the image is there but you can't see it without the flashlight than the inverter board needs to be replaced. This is a VERY common problem. Good Luck and let me know what happens, His Dudeness
