Question about Dell Inspiron 2200 PC Notebook
I have a Dell Inspiron 2200. A while ago, I ran into a problem booting that was solved by re-installing windows. I finally did that, however, I cannot connect to the internet. There used to be an option automatically where I could view the available networks and connect to one. I've tried pressing the appropriate Fn key with the wireless symbol on and off, but I see nothing. I have a wireless network in my household, but the problem is I cannot even see a list, and I'm not sure that my computer is acknowledging that I have wireless capablities (which I had no problem with when I purchased the laptop). What might be the problem? How could I solve it?
Possibly a bad wireless adapter in your laptop (wireless card) One way to check is to get an external LAN card that plugs into a USB port and see if that works. I had this same problem with a Compaq computer and this solved the problem for me... Good Luck
