Question about Vizio Televison & Video
Lately, when we turn our 50 inch Vizio monitor screen on it is slow to display video or have sound. It sometimes comes on then goes off with a "No Signal" displayed. I double check the input and it is correct - HDMI HD2. After a few minutes of going on and off it settles down and is fine he entire rest of the day as long as we don't turn it off. Picture and sound are great when it settles in.
There is obviously something loose or not making good contact. Open and then remove and then tighten down ALL the connectors that come into the house for that TV and go through the cable box to the TV!

I work as a contract technician for Vizio, and I can tell you from experience that replacing motherboard is one of the only solutions to this problem. The other solution if under warranty is to replace it. If you experience red, blue, or green pixels where dark shades (like nose, eyes, clothes, etc), call Vizio and accept nothing less than a full replacement! I have had situations where I replaced motherboard and within 2-3 hours the pixels return. Hope this helps.

Well, your TV is still under warranty. That's the good part.
The only thing I can recommend without voiding the warranty is leaving the TV unplugged for 30min. That way, the TV can reset itself and hopefully correct the problem.
If that doesn't solve the problem, it's time to use the VIZIO warranty.
Here's contact info if you need it.
