Question about Televison & Video
Hello; My internet went off in the middle of responding to your issue.
So this may be serious or all you can do is some cheap trouble shooting and hope for the best.First I would replace the cable wire from your TV. to where it comes in from the Company,if you are using an outdoor antenna check the connections on that because some times they get brittle and break just enough to mess things up and don,t forget they they are in the Weather and corrode and don,t make A good connection.Even though this sound,s like A waist of money you will need those wires sooner or later as they do not last forever. Also you could try going to Auto. channel search and let it down load all your channels again. If all fails it may be more serious that we think and the reason I say that is the new flat screen TV,S are not made to last like the old one,s they are more like A Bic lighter when it,s done it,s done because it would cost 3 times as much to repair it as to get another one.It does sound like the transformer is getting bad and you are loosing some of your pixel lines and it will only get worse as time goes on.Good luck but always try the easy and cheapest things that I said first because you will need them sooner than later.

Try unplugging as suggested. Also, try different inputs (HDMI, component, etc.) and different cables to be sure it's not some external item causing problems or just one input. Also plug it into an outlet on a different circuit in your house.
If everything you try still shows the lines, it's probably the screen itself and is too expensive to fix.
And if you've had the tv fewer than 15 months, go to the link below, register your tv even now, and you'll get the extra months and can get Samsung to fix it if necessary
Also contact your TV manufacturer customer care for further help.

Normally when a line appears on the screen of a plasma or LCD it indicates the TV needs repair. There are circuit boards inside the set that, if bad, will cause problems with the picture. The only troubleshooting the manufacturer will offer is to unplug the TV for 30 minutes. If that doesn't solve the issue, the unit needs service.
Call Panasonic at 800-211-7262 to see what they're willing to do for you. If you're under warranty they will service the TV for sure. If you're out of warranty they still might give you a break--they've been known to do that.
