Hi, our Bosch dishwasher won't drain after a wash cycle - it gives E25 error. Filters have been cleaned, impeller pump cover removed and pump checked - all clean and moving freely. Pulled it out and checked the outflow pipe.
If a cycle is aborted part way through it pumps out the water through the usual abort cycle no problem. If, at the end of a cycle when it is displaying the error, it is switched off, then it clears the error code, and starts a new cycle by pumping out the residual water. It still seems to be washing and rinsing with no problem.
Grateful for any advice!

Bosch E25ErrorThe drainpump is blocked or restricted by debrisPossibly something stuck/jammed in the wash or drainpropeller, remove filter mesh at the bottom of the dishwasher. Carefully remove any excess water and debris jammed near the propeller caution there may be glassor debris near or where the water drains-out.Removeand clean the spray arms, they may have food debris jammed, rinse in hot runningwaterMaintainerWash Runa wash with a tablespoon of powder, without any dishes on the hottest settinge.g. intensive, 65C, if you have a 70C this will be more effective.
I believe your drain pump filter is just clogged. The drain pump is
trying to pump the water out before the Spin cycle, but can't. Usually
this is caused by a foreign object that is obstructing the impeller. See

Question: Model dishwasher is Bosch Exxcell SMS50E02 It stopped before the end of a cycle with the error code E:25 and the "check water" light came on I mopped out all the residual water out of the bottom and then ran a rinse cycle, which after several trials I got to work and then it stopped at the end again with the same error code and water in the bottom as before.
Answer: I assume by in the bottom you mean inside the dishwasher and not in the base.As long as there is no debris in the sump area and the hoses are clear it appears you have a bad drain pump.

Fixed mine very easily... After checking and cleaning the filters by the tub's drain, I checked the air vent atop the sink -- it had a small bit of gunk trapped in the outlet. Cleaned it out, ran a "rinse & hold" cycle and it drained the tub beautifully!
