I think Diskeeper aborts the defragmentation process if the amount of free space on the drive is less than 30 %.

Free up space on the drive , so that the free space goes above 30 % and try.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

When you going to fix it from bening slow and takes to long to load

PCs will slow over time, that is inevitable. What you should try is defragmenting your laptop. Go to the start menu and search for defrag. Open the defrag application and then defragment your drive.

H,would anyone know how i can make computer faster safely & easily please

1) Go through all of the applications, and programs YOU have installed.
(NOT Windows based one's)
Delete the ones you do not use.

2) Copy off all of the personal information on your computer, that you can do without. Photos, video, and music, plus documents you have created, or downloaded.

When a computer's Harddrive reaches 50 percent full, the computer slows down. When it reaches 70 percent, or more, YOU really start to notice it!

Have to free up space in that harddrive.

3) Run Disk Defragment;

Basing the example on Windows XP versions. If you have Vista, or Win 7 post back in a Comment.

Click on Start > Control Panel, then Performance and Maintenance.

[ A note before I go on;
There are two different views available for Control Panel.
Category View, and Classic View.
The above is if you are in Category View.

IF you are in Classic View, I would like you to temporarily switch to Category View. You can switch back if you like when you are done.
Go to the left side, and click on - Switch to Category View ]

After you have clicked on Performance and Maintenance, click on Rearrange items on your hard disk to make programs run faster.
After it has loaded click on Analyze.
Even if it states "You do not need to defragment this drive",
(C: Drive), go ahead, and click on Defragment.

(C:Drive should be highlighted)

Also would suggest you download, and install the free CCleaner.
Not advertising, I have used it for years.
It's a Registry Cleaner.
Works as good as paid for cleaner's, and better than some paid for cleaner's.

I can guide you step by step in downloading, installing, and using CCleaner if you wish.

After you have deleted programs/applications, there are fragmented files (Bits), that are left behind.
Windows Disk Defragment does not wipe these out.

Also every time you visit a website you pick up cookies.
Harmless, but DO take up valuable harddrive space.

CCleaner removes all of this 'junk', and this helps to speed the computer up.

How can I defrag my Dell optiplex760?

How to Defrag a Dell Computer
1. Open the My Computer window. To do this on a Dell computer, click on the "Start" button at the bottom of the screen. Then, click "My Computer".
2. Choose the hard disk drive that you want to defrag. Locate the section entitled "Hard Disk Drives." In this section is a list of hard drives on the computer. For most Dell computers, the hard disk drive you will want to defrag is Local Disk (C:).
3. Right-click on the hard disk drive you want to defrag on the Dell computer. If you want to defrag your C: drive, then right-click on "Local Disk (C:)". A menu bar will appear.
4. Click on "Properties." "Properties" is the last option on the menu bar. This opens the Local Disk (C:) Properties window.
5. Click the "Tools" tab. The Tools tab is the second tab in the Local Disk (C:) Properties window. The tabs are located on the top of the window.
6. Click the "Defragment Now" button. The "Defragment Now" button is in the Defragmentation section of the window. This opens the Disk Defragmenter window.
7. Click to select the disk drive you want to defrag on a Dell computer and then click "Defragment." For most Dell computers, this will be (C:). After you click "Defragment," the Dell computer will first analyze the disk drive you selected and then beginning defragging the Dell computer.
8. Wait for the "Defragmentation is Complete" message. If you have not defragged a Dell computer in a long time, then the defragging process might take a while, even as long as an hour for very fragmented Dell computers. Allow the Dell computer to run the defrag until the process is completed. You will know that the Dell computer has completed the defrag process when the "Defragmentation is Complete" message appears.
9. View the defrag report and then close the window. If you want to view the defrag report, click "View Report." Otherwise, click "Close" to close the window.

My acer aspire is taking too long to boot up..once its on,it works fine but the sounds are different, the start up sound...and when i play videos, they work fine but the sound lags and distorts

maybe because there are so too many start up programs try to disable if yor using windows seven you should be able to this by going to your start menu then all programs-accessories-run. when your in the run program type msconfig press ok then a menu will show up go to start ups then just un-check the start ups programs that you think is not important then re-boot your computer to apply this changes.

cleaning up your hard disk and defraging can also help to speed your boot up

to clean and defrag your hard disk go to your start up menu click my computer then right click on the drive that you want to defrag and clean do to properties then you should be able to see a circle telling how much space you have left in your drive right below it is a button "Disk Cleanup" just click it then it will show up the files that needs to be cleaned up.then just click the "clean up system files"button.

to defrag just click on "tools" menu there you should see a defragment now button just click it and it will defrag you hard disk.

adding some memory can also help to speed up your pc or laptop

about the sound problem re-installing your sound card driver should be able to solve the problem but if not then contact the store where you bought your laptop and let them test it so that they can repair it for free if the problem is in the hardware

Error code 0f00:1332

The drive or usb hub seems to have failed.
First try upgrading your mainboards BIOS. Usually solves software issues. If that doesn't solve the problem replace your drive and try again.
If you still get the same error, the drive controller is probably what has failed. In that case you have to replace your mainboard.

This article might help.

Defragment does not work

This problem can be tacked in a few ways. But I cannot guarantee that it can solve the problem. So please do try out all the alternatives shown below one at a time.

  • Go to Start and then Run, type regsvr32 msxml3.dll and run it, or
  • Start --> Run, regsvr32 dfrgsnap.dll and start - Run, regsvr32 dfrgui.dll and then click on OK, or
  • Go to Start - Run and then type sfc /scannow. (If it asks for the installation CD, insert it) or
  • Install the latest MMC 3.0 (Available at Microsoft site) or
  • Browse to C:\Windows\Inf (Assuming C drive is your OS drive), right click dfrg.inf file and click on Install.
If the above does not solve your problem still, then try renaming the dfrg.msc file to something else and place the shortcut in your start menu.

If everything fails, it can only be a registry or a .MSC association problem...

Storage getting smaller

Try running a defragment on it. Just right click on the drive, and select properties. Then go to the Tools Tab, and click on the option [Defragment Now] Then in the window that pops up, select the Defragment button, it is up to you on whether or not to view the report, and then just let it go. When it finishes you don't have to view the report, but it should fix your problem.
