The F1 error code -- lost communication with the sorter. Are there secondary numbers after the F1? Check connector cables on sorter and machine, check power to sorter. If those are fine then you are looking at a board problem. Also make sure that all covers are close properly. *** check cover between the sorter and machine*** ( you may have to pull sorter away from machine).
