Question about Televison & Video

The tv is stuck with the JVC symbol and will not go away. You have to unplug it to turn off the tv and when it is powered back up the JVC is still there.

Hello; This sounds like an internal issue not A quick fix as I had the same issue with an R.C.A. doing the same thing.Well I tried every thing just like you and it was still there driving me off the deep end.So after I tried every thing I could think off I looked up R.C.A. on the internet and got there customer service toll free No. and they put me on with one of there repair People and He walked me through it and after about about A half an HR. of trying to understand what he was trying to get me to try it was gone YA. But I knew I would never remember how to do it again I had him send me an Email so the next time I could do it,but so far so good it never happened again knock on wood but I still have that paper just in case. All the best and good luck.

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

JVC tv stuck one channe

I would either call JVC to see if known issue or to inquire if set has a lockout feature that kills remote and all button features----other possible reason in main board with all micro functions has a problem.

JVC tv "stuck" on sleep timer

I think you would have to turn off the sleep timer mode completely or increase its ON time span, say to 4 hours or so
or the lenth of time you have the TV on for. If that does not fix it then it sounds like a STANDBY MODE fault problem.
Hope this helps.

Parental Lock

Try unplugging the tv for a few minutes. This reset the front panel lock on my JVC tv. I got it from the manual, which I found at the JVC site by Googling the specific model of the tv along with JVC and manual. I found the manual right away.

JVC LT-26DF7BK won't turn on

Hi I had the same problem with my LT-26C31BJE. The TV just stuck in standby mode. If you tried to turn it on, it seemed like it tried to power up, but then reverted back to standby.

I solved it this way. I took the back off the TV (unplugged of course) and made sure all visible contacts were home (they all seemed to be). Also to the right of where the power lead enters the box there is a small fuse, 250V 6.3 W. I replaced this fuse and the TV now works fine.
