Re: laoptop batery

Have you checked the power pin (where the AC cord connects to the computer)?

A poorly designed connector on many laptops is the cause of much grief.

Re: laoptop batery

Try taking the battery out for 30 secs or so and then replacing it. You'll find a couple of locks on the bottom of the laptop that will release it.

I just bought a new laptop battery for my toshiba satelite A105, but the problem is the changing the battery, when the battery is low then i plug in the AC adapter the laptop keeps using the battery...

Make sure that the replacement battery is registering as a proper replacement and not a knock-off. This will sometimes cause them to act funny.
Check the power settings under Control Panel. It's a long shot, but there might be a weird setting in there.

My toshiba Satelite A200 is hang when AC adaptor is insert

Inserting AC adaptor while computer is working on battery power, may indicate that an arcing occurred and cpu got wrong data to stop sequential operation. You may have to turn on AC adaptor, after it has been inserted into your laptop while using battery power.

My laptop won't charge

What do u mean by "adjust the cord" ? If u have to adjust by twisting the jack in the power input port then it is neither the fault of the cord nor the of the battery but may be the fault of the power input port.
Go to Toshiba service center and they will solv the prob.

Laptop Toshiba Satellite A200 Model No. PSAF6A-02C01N fail boot

Try removing / swapping / reseating the memory.

Try booting with one stick only, if the top slot doesn't work, try booting the bottom slot. Try both sticks.

Let me know what happens.

The laptop is dead.

It does sound like your cmos battery. It is located on your system board. If your confident you can take the laptop apart and get the details from the battery and then goto a pc shop and buy a new one if not take the laptop to the shop and they can replace it for you.

Toshiba satelite black screen

try removing the battery& remove the ac power
Then press and hold the power button in the on position for 10 -15 seconds.
reconnect the ac power only and press the on button ... this should get it to work.

once on again ... reconnect the battery pack

many laptops have a safety device protecting the MB from the capacitors overcharging and this process discharges the capacitors and it should resume as normal

Toshiba satelite A100 rejects AC... often.

Just to humor me, are you using any peripherals with your laptop when this happens, such as a wireless mouse, USB connections such as digital cameras? Try to take these away when recharging.

There seems to be 2 issues here.
1) Recharing batteries: To prepare the batteries for long-term use (I do not know how long you've had the batteries...try draining the batteries (both of them), and then recharging it to full 2x before using them without the AC Adapter. This should clear the problem.

2) AC Adapter only works every other day: When you swapped the power pack, was it with a new AC adapter, or another used one? Also, have you tried using a different outlet than the one you normally use? Let me know how this turns out.
