How to remove a splinter using glue

Have you ever had a splinter in your hand or foot? Splinters can be incredibly annoying and sometimes very painful. Often you won't have a good tweezer around or you simply can't bear the thought of digging the splinter out. My grandmother had the perfect solution to this problem. Place a warm to hot compress over the area with the splinter for five minutes to loosen up the skin and open your pours. Then dry the area thoroughly or this trick won't work. Place a thin layer of Elmer's glue over the area of the splinter (Just like you used to do as a kid in art class!) Five minutes later, once the glue is completely dried, grab the glue from one corner and pull up quickly. Pull it similarly to the way you would if you were waxing a body part... but I promise the splinter removal will pain free. Sometimes, the glue will grab onto the splinter but only bring it half the way up. In that case, you can repeat until you are splinter free and clear.

I have an 8" square

Maybe replace the broken wooden handle with a similar length metal one. I'm sure it could be welded or fastened to the metal plate in some sturdy fashion. If not, check your local hardware store for shovel handles and the like. They usually last for many years.

My new panel door has been hung badly keeps dropping and rubbing floor also handle screws have come out and wont grip again.

Please specify the type of hardware used for suspending the door. If you can take a photo of it, you may email it to nujazzphilosophy@yahoo.com ...be sure to reference this question.

Re: Stripped screws - Cut small splinters of soft wood (spruce-pine-fir) to size and glue them in the stripped screw holes. Allow to dry and cut/sand off excess. Refasten the handle with the screws using a screwdriver, or a cordless drill (w/screwdriver bit) with the clutch set to a low setting in order to prevent stripping again.

I hope that this was of help to you.

We changed the alternator and can't get the belt back on,,,,help.

Have you attached a socket and bar to the belt tensioner, and released the tension on the belt, which will allow you to slip the belt on? I'm not sure of the exact set up on the Escort, some engines are more difficult than others to get a wrench on the tensioner, you can purchase a special tool if there is not enough room (if you purchase the belt from a parts store, many will loan you the tool). The special tool has a long thin handle for easier access to the bolt, and the long handle provides good leverage to easily move it.

Yeah hi i downloaded splinter cell chaos theory and im looking for a serial code so i can play online please help me. how do i get an online serial code

First of all, shame on you for dLing things. Since it isn't a "real" copy of the game you cant play online. The online part isnt the problem, each game has it's own signature when it goes online. It wont be recognized when you try to take it online, thus it doesnt even have a serial code.

Last but not least keep your dLing to yourself dont know if you've heard but it's ILLEGAL
