You can download and install the audio driver from the laptop manufacturer's WEB site.
I cannot give you the link to this WEB site because you did give me details of the make and model of your laptop.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. The drivers are not installed for your Toshiba notebook. You'll need to download & install the audio drivers. You can either download and install it from the drivers & utilities disk that you have got with your notebook. Or can download from this link by selecting the model number of your notebook--

Audio output device

Hi.

The audio output device in your computer is the audio adapter board (or circuit). This is the device that produces sounds and send them to the speakers.

If you get a message telling you that there is no Audio Output Device detected, or that the Audio Device is not working, that usually means that there is a problem with the audio driver.

In that case the problem is often fixed downloading and reinstalling the drivers for your audio device. If there is a problem with the audio output device, go to the computer manufacturer website (e.g. Dell, HP, Sony etc.) and download the audio drivers for your specific model. When download is complete install the drivers and restart the computer.

Regards.

Problems with audio after installing radeon hd 2400

Hi,

This happens because the video card has hdmi output. Since hdmi output can carry audio signals also, the audio driver gets disabled. Uninstall audio driver and video driver both, install the video driver, and then install audio driver. after installing the audio driver, in playback and recording devices choose choose the audio output device you purchased along with the computer. This should fix the issue.

Revert back for any clarifications.
