Memory is used by pictures, text messages, and saved video. You need to clean out your Inbox on the phone, and delete any pictures and videos that are no longer any use. You can transfer to a laptop if you want before deleting.

My apologies if I offended you in any way for trying to help you with the problem on your phone.

Please let me know what I did to offend you so I don't do the same to someone else in the future.

I don't think formatting would be a good idea without deeper investigation. Go to the Nokia website and download the manual and see what it says about formatting.

As for worried about your applying an my response as "Inappropriate", I, or anyone else who offers solutions on this website, would have hoped you would have said "Thanks for trying". After all, we do this voluntarily at without pay unless the asker chooses to pay for the advice given.

hey that same thing happened to me. i think why it happened is if u delete a message before you look at it, so dont do that, and i went to setting and phone settings and deleted all the phone memory which got rid of it but it deleted some of my contacts that were saved to the phone memory. so like all the contacts you added after you got the phone. but yeah it gets rid of it

Intel celeron 2.13 GHz 64kb L1 128 kb L2 cache. sis FX661 agp. FSB 533MHZ. DDR400. Strangely enough, the memory seem to be under performing greatly.pc3200 mem reports to be working at 2100 speeds. Switch...

to get the full performance out of 533 fsb, you need the next speed up from ddr400. since your ram cant run at 533mhz, it cuts the frequency down to 1/2 of 533, which is 266.

Nokia N73 ME phone memory shows full but not full

change the optional memory to memory card as the phone memory is filled completely.generally messaging uses the phone memory to operate.Messaging->options->settings->other and change the memory is use to memory card.that should solve the problem. This problem is certainly not with the memory card.hope this helps you out.

Low Memory for N72

hi, do you have an extra mem card in the phone if you have then move some data to this as the phone dont use the memory on card unless you put stuff their yourself, so the phone will say mem full even if memory card is empty so try this first.
1. delete any messages in inbox/outbox/sent messages as these will take up mem
2. delete any old phone numbers/pictures/screen savers that you dont use.
3. the best way to free up loads of memory is by deleting all of the free ringtones you got with the phone most of the free ones you will never use so i deleted all of these and just kept the ringtones i used most people never use the free ones you get when buying the phone so doing this will free up loads of room. Also delete any ringtones you have put on their that you never use as the music ringtones can use loads of mem alot more than the standard tones.
4. every time you send a message your phone stores them in sent messages so delete all of these.
Once you have done all of this you will find you have loads of free memory.
The best thing to do if you have a memory card in your phone is move all the music/music ringtones that you want to keep onto the card doing this means you can still use the ringtones and free up loads of the phones memory.
The phone dont take the mem card into acount when its telling you mem full ok so put as much on mem card as you can ok.
Let me know how you get on and also if you need further assistance ok
