Question about Toshiba Satellite Computers & Internet
Is there a way to bypass HDD built in user password, I have not created one
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Shutdown The System
Press ESC and Power button together
Enter the passwords if prompted
Press F1 to enter the BIOS
Select the password field (it shows Registered)
enter bkspc or space
enter your existing password
It prompts for New password
Repeat for verify
Now password is Unregistered

There is a freeware called Killcmos. You can find it using google. But this is no guarantee and could possibly damage your bios.
Hope this helps.

the only solution is for you to call the acer tech support and they can generate a password for you to gain access to your hard drive and bios.
