The motherboard has no display I have already test the memory but it is ok and the 80 diagnostic cards has an error code indicated 44 what shall I do?

Make sure that cpu is in right and video card is ok and all power plugs are in the right place

E61 means you have the neutral and the L2 wire either reversed or in the wrong position. ENTER TEST MODE SEQUENCE by doing the following . 1.Disconnect thepower for 30 seconds.2.Reconnect the power and within 30 seconds press the sequence of buttons listed below.3.Press the "SIGNAL"button.4.Press the "DELAY START"button.5.Press the "SIGNAL"button.6.Press the "DELAY START"button. Now after you have fixed the reveresed wiring problem you will need to remove the fault code fromt he memory otherwise the machine will not work. To remove the fault code do the following ENTER TEST MODE

You will notice "t01". To choose the test mode that you want toverify, turn the knob to the desired test mode setting.
Push the start/pause button.To cancel the test mode, press on "power".
You will be able to choose another test mode and again press on "start/pause".

The PC does not start.Only it beeps and a red light blinks,also fen is not working.

Also you do not indicate which fan? I would guess you mean the main Power Supply (PS)? In which case it could just be you need to replace the PS.

New g.e. Dryer displays a fault code e61 on screen and will not power on or clear...this dryer is brand new...straight out of box with this fault code...

Can not reinstall os on mt acer 246lc it bleeps 4 times and swithes off


Without knowing what motherboard is in the unit - it will be difficult to determine what the 4 beeps means.

Generally, 4 beeps means issues with :

- memory
- video card
- keyboard
- motherboard failure

Things to try -

- make sure there is no keys stuck down
- remove the battery and AC adapter, remove and re-install the memory sticks (reseating the memory)

If this does not work, your problem may be more serious. Let us know the results of the above suggestions.

BIOS Beep Codes
When a computer is first turned on, or rebooted, its BIOS performs a power-on self test (POST) to test the system's hardware, checking to make sure that all of the system's hardware components are working properly. Under normal circumstances, the POST will display an error message; however, if the BIOS detects an error before it can access the video card, or if there is a problem with the video card, it will produce a series of beeps, and the pattern of the beeps indicates what kind of problem the BIOS has detected. Because there are many brands of BIOS, there are no standard beep codes for every BIOS.
The two most-used brands are AMI (American Megatrends International) and Phoenix.
Below are listed the beep codes for AMI systems, and here are the beep codes for Phoenix systems.

AMI Beep Codes
Beep Code Meaning 1 beep DRAM refresh failure. There is a problem in the system memory or the motherboard. 2 beeps Memory parity error. The parity circuit is not working properly. 3 beeps Base 64K RAM failure. There is a problem with the first 64K of system memory. 4 beeps System timer not operational. There is problem with the timer(s) that control functions on the motherboard. 5 beeps Processor failure. The system CPU has failed. 6 beeps Gate A20/keyboard controller failure. The keyboard IC controller has failed, preventing gate A20 from switching the processor to protect mode. 7 beeps Virtual mode exception error. 8 beeps Video memory error. The BIOS cannot write to the frame buffer memory on the video card. 9 beeps ROM checksum error. The BIOS ROM chip on the motherboard is likely faulty. 10 beeps CMOS checksum error. Something on the motherboard is causing an error when trying to interact with the CMOS. 11 beeps Bad cache memory. Phoenix uses sequences of beeps to indicate problems. The "-" between each number below indicates a pause between each beep sequence.
