Question about Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
I was trying to load Turbo Tax 2008 and was prompted that I needed to load the Windows XP Service Pack 2 and I followed the promtps and was able to download the service pack and I was prompted to restart my system. When the system restarted windows XP crashed with a fatal error. I now get the message that "Windows can not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
You can attempt to repair this file by starting Windows Setup using the original Setup CD-ROM.
Select 'r' at the first screen to start repair."
I inserted the original setup CD-ROM and nothing happens. I just return to the same error message. Please help!!
nothing happens when you try to use the recovery console right by pressing "r".
try this again and again , sometimes it idles but its still running, if the error appears, restat again.
some corruptions maybe beyond our control and sometimes the only solution for this is to recover the inportant files you have on that HD and do a reformat...

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
