I'm trying to download the start up cd to my child's didj. The file is in my downloads but I can extract it because it says I need to buy winrar. Is there another program that will extract the zip files without purchasing winrar or do I need to purchase it? I'm running with VistaStill need a solution for this problem? Here it is (click here), it's a pdf file zipped inside a Winzip file, you'll need winrar or winzip program to extract the contents (the pdf file). And also, you'll need a pdf reader, like Adobe reader or Foxit Reader to open the file (manual) on your computer.
Which version of Windows are you using? Either way uninstall it and install WinRar. It's a trail version too, but if you right-click your files and choose Extract.... It won't bother mentioning anything about being expired ;)
If you've got Windows 7 you don't need WinZip for Zip files, it can extract them without the software too!
