Kenmore TopLoad Drying Machine

Model 110-62622100 Serial ML1915424 Type: DWJR-ELE-2406028-FM54 Machine purchased in August 2001. Dryer makes load sqealing noise during operation. I'm thinking bearings or roller problem, or maybe something needs to be lubed. Replacement seems odd since machine is so new.......Please advise. Thanks Tom Yankees1@us.ibm.com

It could be a part in the bulkhead unit. Shaft, Tri Ring, and support roller all fit together. You can put grease on the rollers and shaft support if they are in good shape. You can download the 3D-diagram, and parts list from HTTP://WWW3.SEARS.COM All you need is the model #110-62622100. If you do need parts, you can order them from the website and it comes with an exploded diagram on how to repair it. GO YANKEES !!

I have a Whirlpool DWJR-ELE-2406028-FM54 and when I open the door (while machine is running), the drum keeps turning. How do i remedy this?

sounds like the door switch is broken, good thing it broke in the running position or the dryer wouldn't start.that isn't a good model number either, open the door look around the opening where you put the clothes in and you should see a tag with the model number, you'll need that to order the door switch.the dwjr comes up but not the rest if this is a ge dryer.

Whirlpool Electric dryer type-DWJR-ELE-2406028-FM54. model LER7646JQO the heating element get very hot. the dryer does not turn on. the drum does not turn either.

If the heating element is getting very hot that means there is no air flow across it. If the drum doesn't turn then the blower is not turning causing the element to get very hot. Could be drum belt, drum rollers, or motor.

Where do you find a heating element for a Kenmore Model #110.66662500. Serial: MT0203728 Type: DWJR-ELE-2406028-FM54

Grainger.com is easy or you can look thru the yellow pages for a local appliance repair store, for parts.

No heat with drying

LOOK AT THE DIAPHRAM. AppliancePartspros.com and looks like the easiest way for this one is from the bottom of the dryer.

My dryer won't turn on

Make sure that the problem is not a broken belt, or a belt that has slipped off of the motor pulley or idle arm pulley.
Look to see if the motor is running first, sometimes you cannot hear the motor running but it is.
Also you can check your breakers to see if one is kicked out.
This problem can also be caused by a faulty start switch.
If this is not the problem than it may be time to call the repairman

It appears the heating element went out on our older Kenmore dryer - Type DWJR ELE 2406028 FM54. mod 110.62622101. Is this an easy fix?

Yes it is fairly easy to replace from the back. First verify it is the element and not the thermal fuse or a loss of one leg of the 240VAC circuit.

Dryer runs no heat

Sounds to me you either blew the fuse or tripped the circuit for the heating element. Try replacing the fuse or resetting the breaker before trying any repairs.
