Hi, there is a possibility that the ink cartridges that you installed are not recognized properly. As a solution for that, try reseating the affected cartridges. You may also ask your vendor if they can replace the cartridges. Upon trying a different cartridges and issue persists, please contact Epson to process the warranty for your printer or ask a nearest service center in your area.

If u have the s/w CD with you, then put it in the computer, open My Computer. There u will findhpweb_1-2_topnav_hp_logo.gifthis icon on the disk drive.
Do a "Right" click on this icon & open "Explore". In that u will find a folder "Util", open it, u will find another folder "ccc", open that as well, in this u will find "Uninstall L3". Select this option and run the uninstallation. a cleanup process would start, once the clean up(uninstallation) completes, it will ask you to restart the computer. Go back to the HP icon in My Computer(Keep the disk in the computer) double click on the HP icon and install it. The L3 Uninstall will clean the full HP S/w from the computer which will also remove the damaged files. then reinstallation will be proper and will let you use your printer through the computer. I hope your problem gets resolved by this. Please let me whatever happens

Can oper Kodak home center but cant scan or print from it

No you can't print. You need printer icon to operate.
You can try follow steps.
go to device manager ,   expand Universal Serial Bus (USB),  right click on USB Composite Device, Uninstall it. Reboot your computer. You will get a printer icon,
and you can start printing without AIO Home center.
