SOURCE: LG WD-12124RD How do I remove the front panels?

Hiya,
most machines now open from the back you will find 2 or 3 screws/bolts at the top holding on the top section if you un screw those then slide the top back slightly it should unclip allowing you to take off the top this should expose some more screws or bolts that will be holding on the front & sides, if your machine is leaking from the front you could have a leaky door seal too so you may want to check that before starting to take it apart.

Hope this helps

DLEX2801W won't stay powered up

I do not know that machine but It appears it is not coming up to full speed when you hold the button in. I believe there is a contact in the start switch (contained in the motor) that latches it on. It is probably something loading it down so it cannot come to speed. Possibly bearings etc. Remember this is only a guess I do not know the machine.

LG DLEX2801W dryer will not turn on

Lots of possible problems.
Here are the most probable causes, from most likely to least likely:
1) The door switch may have failed or broken.
Many of these are plastic, and can break, or can even fall down inside the machine.
2) The timer may have failed, and needs to be replaced.
3) You may have a "tripped" circuit breaker in your "fuse box", wherever that is.
These are often found in the garage, basement, hall, or wherever.
4) You may have a burnt or broken wire where the electric cord attaches to the back of the machine.
Be blessed.

Electric LG DLEX2801W (steam dryer) not heating.

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

If you have already cleaned the vent then the problem is with the Thermal fuse. When the thermal fuse goes bad it cannot be reset and replacing it is recommended repair. It is located on the blower wheel housing inside the rear panel to the exhaust duct. You can test it for continuity before replacing. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

How do you remove the front panel on LG model # DLG0452W . I want to replace the igniter glow.

Disconnect the washer from the power source. Use a putty knife blade to release the locks of the top panel. Insert the putty knife blade in the seam between the top panel and the front panel about 2 3/4" from the edges. Push until the locks are released and lift the top panel.

Open the door and remove the 2 screws from the bottom of the door opening. Remove the 2 screws from the upper side of the front panel and pull the front panel out. Disconnect the door switch connector and remove the front panel completely.
